Efficient Diary is an easy to use personal diary that comes with all the features you need to maintain a daily diary of events or ideas. It offers a modern interface and full support for rich text editing as well as emoticons, tables, links, images and attachments.

• Efficient Diary will backup the current file automatically to the 'AutoBackup' folder in the program's installation directory (by default, 'C:\Program Files\Efficient Diary\AutoBackup').
• You can click the Backup command on the File menu at any time to back up the data of the current Efficient Diary file to some other place, such as to your USB drive.
• The login password is encrypted by the irreversible algorithm of SHA; besides, the content of the file itself is encrypted so that your private information is fully protected.
• You can insert various items such as tables, pictures, emotions, URLs or even attachments.
• You can set the background color, background picture of each diary entry separately so your diary can be rich and colorful.
• Except for managing diary entries by date, you can also manage it by hierarchical grouping.
• There is a Recycle Bin in the software so you do not need to worry that you may delete a diary entry by mistake.
• You can specify a weather icon and an emotion icon for each diary entry, can specify importance for diary entries, and can copy and paste diary entries, etc.
